When decorating your fireplace you will want your biggest piece in the center. Then, you will add height on each side, but never the same height. Then, you can add some smaller pieces stacking in the front. We switch out the fireplace quite often, but here is what we came up with for Valentine’s Day. The first thing is this adorable garland. The wooden garland is from hobby lobby and it added so much fun and color. The red color is rich and pretty and the pink is very soft. It hangs down the perfect length and has the perfect look on the mantel. The colors all blend so well and make this mantel so inviting and fun.

I love a floral piece added into decor. The vase came from Target. Unfortunately, they no longer carry it, but I linked a similar one. You could use this vase in several different places in your home. It would work well on a kitchen island, dresser, or wherever you would like to put it. The stems came from Hobby Lobby. We put a total of four stems in the vase. The frosted berries give a winter feel as well as Valentine’s Day. I love the pop of color that the frosted berries give. It is such a pretty red and the frost on it adds so much.
When styling your fireplace, you always need a center piece that will be the largest and then you can work down from it. We like to switch things up between a mirror, wreath, or art. Here, we chose to go with a mirror. You could also use this mirror on your wall in your bedroom or bathroom. It is very heavy and sturdy. This mirror came from Kirkland’s, they no longer have the exact one, but we were able to find one similar that we linked.

Then we added the wooden heart, and signs to add some more pop of color. Marshall’s and Tj Maxx are our go-to for decorative signs. They have so many at such a great price, but unfortunately, we can’t link them. These two signs compliment each other in color and wood tones. We can’t pass up a cute decorative sign. They are so versatile and are perfect in size to put wherever you want.

Next, we have black candlestick holders with flameless taper candles. I love these candles because you don’t have to worry about them and can easily turn them on and off with a remote. The remote is so easy to use and when you turn the candles off you don’t have a smoke filled room. My candlesticks are old, but I linked some similar from Amazon and linked the exact candles also, from Amazon. You are going to love them!! They would also be perfect down your kitchen table. No mess!!

On the bottom right of the fireplace we have a log holder and birch logs. This is something you could easily incorporate into your fireplace decor from fall up until spring. It’s just a basic piece that fills a spot. Making decorating very simple and easy. We have had these logs for three years and they still look great. The log holder and logs both came from Amazon.

Lastly, another easy addition to the side of your fireplace is a basket with pillows and a blanket tucked inside. You can never go wrong with a throw and pillow. They add color and softness. Nothing can make a room more cozy than a throw and pillow. They add such warmth and coziness to any room. We love to put them by the fireplace hearth, on the sofa, in chairs, or on a bench in the living room. If you don’t use throws and pillows, now is a great time to start. There are so many different types of baskets you can use for a throw and pillow. You pick the size and shape and just put them in there and you will see how cozy it feels. Once again, my pillows and blanket came from Marshall’s, but I’ll link some options from Target.
