Kitchen Table Decor
1. Runner or Placemats
When decorating your table, you have the option between a table runner or placemats. Both looks are adorable, so it really just comes down to your preference. We chose this gingham pattern to show you and love the blue color for spring and summer.
When choosing your runner or placemats don’t be afraid to add some color and pattern. You may think that it can be too busy, but remember that we will be adding chargers and other things that will keep things settle. This is the first step in setting and decorating your table. Next up, chargers.
2. Plate Charger
Are these not adorable? We love the natural woven place chargers. These aren’t just cute, but are so good to help protect your table. They also just add so much to your table and help make everything else level up in design. You don’t have to have chargers, but they do add so much to your table layout.
You can place these directly in the middle of your placemats or if you have a runner just directly in front of each chair. Not only will you love the design but it’s just an extra touch of charm for your guest.
3. Plates
Now for your plates. The options are endless when you are shopping for dinner plates. In the Hearth & Hand collection alone, there were so many different directions we could have gone with, but the runner and chargers we chose this seemed like the best option.
We love these plates. They are a modern sleek design, have a raised rim, and a matte finish. We love the simplicity of the look, but the character of the design.
Another option would be to mix a contrast of colors. These plates in particular also come in a beautiful blue color which would make the blue in the runner or placemats pop. We would probably have the salad plate be the pop of color for this design.
4. Bowls
We love the look, color scheme, and design of these bowls for our table setting. We have our runner, natural woven chargers, neutral dinner plate, pop of color salad plate, and now an adorable two-tone bowl. The colors bring back the neutral color of the dinner plate and the trim bring in more of the natural color from the chargers.
We are obsessed with this look! The bowls just add a little more flair to the table landscape. We love the raised walls and the tall brim that matches with the plates and layout of the table.
5. Glass Drinkware
These tall glass cups are darling. They have an elegant, tapered body and delicate leaf accents. We love the elegance they bring to the table!
6. Napkin and Napkin Rings
For napkins, we chose these neutral color block napkins with the extra fringe on the end. They are adorable and bring a little more flair to the table. Then the natural rattan woven rings that are paired perfectly with the woven chargers. Making it all tie together effortlessly and beautifully.
7. Silverware
This silverware is the only thing from the table setting that isn’t from the Hearth & Hand collection, but we didn’t think there was any other way to go. With this color scheme, we love the added gold accents. The color just blends beautifully with the neutral color scheme and blue layout. We love this combination so much and think it just adds even more elegance.
8. Wood Tray
Now for the center of the table we are going to keep things simple, but charming. We want to show you how easy it really can be to style the center of your table. First, you will need to decide on a base. We went with this wood tray that compliments all of the other natural colors we have used already.
9. Pitcher and Greenery
When decorating an area, you always want to work with odd numbers. It just looks best to offset things. So, for our tall piece to put on the tray we are going with the adorable white pitcher and these flower stems. We love using a pitcher in the kitchen for an arrangement. Also, for spring and summer, some pretty florals are always a win! It makes things bright and airy adding a sweet touch.
10. Salt & Pepper Shaker
You really can do whatever with the floral arrangements, but we love adding practical kitchen things to our decor. We love these wooden salt and pepper shakers.
11. Napkin Holder
This napkin holder is the perfect addition to the rest of the decor. I love for my napkins to be neat and tidy and not just laying on the table. What a cute napkin holder to help with just that!
